Ignacio Garrido obtained his BSc. In Marine Biology at Universidad Austral de Chile (2012). Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Biology at the Université Laval, under the supervision of Dr. Ladd Johnson. Ignacio’s doctoral research focuses on underwater ecological subsidies and their effects on marine invertebrates in temperate and polar regions. His previous research includes monitoring of benthic marine biodiversity, underwater geo-referencing and ecology of populations in subtidal and intertidal zones.
