Professor of marine Geochemistry & Geology - Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski (ISMER) / Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR)
Dr Montero Serrano holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Lille 1 (France), a post-doc in paleohydrology and marine geochemistry from the Laboratory for Climate and Environmental Sciences and from the Laboratory for Interactions and Dynamics in Surface Environments in 2010.
In 2011, he carries out research on marine environmental disturbance during the lower Toarcian in the NW of Tethys, in order to study the inflow of elemental geochemistry, for which he earned a second post-doc in sedimentology and geochemistry. Since 2012, he has been a professor in marine geochemistry and geology at UQAR.
